Operations Associate - Sydney

Our client, a global trading business, is seeking an experienced Operations Associate to join their Sydney team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely capture of trades, accurate position reconciliations, and profit and loss estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trade capture and position reconciliations
  • Ensuring trades are captured in an efficient and timely manner
  • Accurate position reconciliations to external brokers
  • Profit and loss estimates for the day's activity
  • Liaising with external parties to resolve position/cash discrepancies
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar capacity
  • Operational knowledge of Asian securities markets ideal
  • Thorough knowledge of equity and OTC derivatives, particularly equity swaps
  • Strong corporate actions knowledge
