Key Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer to join our Sydney team and support national industrial and water business projects. This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking to lead and develop our Sydney team, working on diverse water infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will lead structural designs for steel structures in hydraulic structures, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities, as well as general industrial projects. They will manage project delivery from design through to construction support within a multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
This Principal Structural Engineer position requires a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering and significant experience in steel structures design, including industrial buildings, steel framing, and roofing. Experience with concrete or liquid retaining structures is desirable but not essential.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional growth. You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from initial design concepts to completion.
