As a career coach, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals through personalized job pathways. You will help them overcome barriers and deliver workshops that boost confidence and capability.

  • Deliver 1:1 career coaching and capacity-building workshops to help clients prepare for employment opportunities.
  • Work with clients to identify their strengths and areas for development, and create customized plans to achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to secure job placements and apprenticeships for your clients.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role based in our office. Working hours are 8:30am-5pm in office, Monday to Friday. The position offers a competitive salary and training and professional development commitment.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced career coach who has a strong track record of helping individuals achieve their employment goals. You should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as education, social work, or psychology.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, including those with disabilities and disadvantages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and employers.

You will be part of a team while working autonomously with your clients. This role requires empathy, organisation, and clear communication. A valid Working with Children Check/Blue card with National Crimcheck with no disclosable outcomes is also required.
