About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Katoomba Mental Health Team in a Permanent Full-time role. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive clinical mental health services to individuals with mental illness or disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care and mental health assessments to patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote recovery and empowerment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers to promote understanding and support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in mental health care
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing and assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with consumers and carers
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software
