We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Katoomba Mental Health Team in a Permanent Full-time role. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive clinical mental health services to individuals with mental illness or disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and mental health assessments to patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote recovery and empowerment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers to promote understanding and support
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in mental health care
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing and assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with consumers and carers
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software
