The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for a commercially savvy Head of Finance Systems to join our Australian operations. This is a senior leadership role where you'll be a key player in our Head Office Finance team. Your responsibilities will be pivotal, involving overseeing the finance systems product ownership. This role involves collaboration with Finance, Transformation, and People teams to optimise processes, define business requirements, and develop business cases.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Leading the finance systems product ownership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Overseeing the implementation and upgrades of finance systems including S/4Hana & integration.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and document business requirements.
  • Developing and presenting business cases for system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Ensuring data integrity and accuracy within finance systems.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the finance systems team.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in finance systems and technology.
  • Collaborating with the Digital and Technology team in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of the finance systems.

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate substantial commercial acumen, expertise in financial assessment of transformation initiatives, strong technical finance skills, effective leadership abilities, and the capacity to cultivate robust, positive, and professional relationships with both remote and on-site teams.
