Flexible Mobile Health Care Professional

This role involves working as a mobile health care professional, traveling to remote areas and liaising with medical staff.

Key responsibilities include collecting samples, keeping records and interacting with patients in a patient-centered approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience in phlebotomy, excellent communication skills and be organized with high attention to detail.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role, along with current driver's license and vaccine-preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B.

What We Are Looking For

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with doctors, nurses and patients to understand their needs and requirements
  • Collecting samples across different wards and areas, including Paediatrics and difficult bleeds
  • Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy, ideally with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or nursing background
  • Excellent liaison and communication skills, with high level of empathy and patient-centered approach
  • Organized with high attention to detail
  • Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain one
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or valid visa with permission to work
  • Vaccine-preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role
