We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Security Specialist to join our team at Corporate Office.

The Corporate Office provides corporate services and support to the autonomous Wesfarmers divisions, helping to enable the achievement of Group objectives.
About the TeamOur Technology team provides end-to-end services for our Corporate Office, as well as supporting knowledge sharing and best practice across the Wesfarmers Group.

Job DescriptionThis newly created, full-time permanent role based in Perth will play a key role in shaping our data landscape at Corporate Office and accelerate your personal growth.
You will develop and proactively manage cloud platform security and cost, establish and maintain new and existing infrastructure components, run periodic Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and best practice reviews, manage DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), help establish a roadmap for our cloud platform including updates and new components, implement automation to reduce manual intervention associated with provisioning, deploying and managing cloud resources, provide technical advice on best practice delivery and deployment methods for cloud-driven solutions, and collaborate with platform teams across the businesses within the Wesfarmers Group.
Required Skills and QualificationsWe're looking for someone with significant experience working as a Platform Engineer and managing cloud infrastructure within a large, complex environment (Azure or AWS).
Proficiency in Python and cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages, experience in setting up DevOps best practices and establishing and managing CICD pipelines, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills, a disciplined approach and passion to learn and develop new skills, and tertiary qualifications in a Computer Science or equivalent discipline (Software Engineering is desirable) are essential.
