Your Role As a Senior Security Engineer, you will support our organization in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data by embedding security into the design, development, and operational lifecycle of technology solutions.

You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Sentinel-based log analytics, alerting, and threat detection capabilities.

You will build and maintain integrations with various data sources to enhance visibility and detection coverage.

You will develop and tune analytics rules, workbooks, playbooks, and automation workflows to support proactive threat identification and response.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure telemetry is effectively captured and analyzed.

You will provide expert guidance on log ingestion strategies, data normalization, and enrichment.

In an agile delivery context, you will work closely with security architects, product owners, delivery leads, and engineering teams to define and deliver sustainable, effective security outcomes.

You will identify risks and vulnerabilities in technical solutions and recommend appropriate controls or mitigations.

You will explain the purpose and operation of security controls to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will contribute to solution architecture and high-level design documentation with a security lens.

You will support the development and maintenance of security standards, patterns, and operational artifacts.

In collaboration with our Security Operations team, you will review and enhance existing infrastructure security posture across Azure and AWS environments.

You will drive remediation of identified security gaps and support continuous improvement of security capabilities.

You will ensure cloud infrastructure are securely configured and maintained.

You will champion security practices and principles.

You will also evaluate emerging technologies and assess their relevance to our security strategy.

You will make informed design decisions balancing security, usability, and implementation efficiency.

You will act as a technical SME for Microsoft Sentinel and other security tools in use.

You will support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
