Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in the South West & Great Southern areas of Western Australia. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, and breakdown requests for our customers in the region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and obtain all required parts and equipment to carry out service jobs
  • Perform onsite repairs of hydraulic components, including function and performance testing on customer equipment
  • Use data logging instruments to obtain customer product data to resolve faults or product performance
  • Complete and upload all service documentation using our designated job management system
  • Prepare daily Service Reports, ensuring accuracy and detail of executed work and working times undertaken
  • Ensure all Service Reports for workshop work are detailed, including start and finish times
  • Liaise daily with our Service Supervisor on recently completed, imminent, and planned jobs
  • Maintain all equipment and tooling used in a clean and safe working order
  • Contribute positively to business operations and identify opportunities to improve business processes
  • Travel to the Pilbara area as required
  • Perform other duties as directed from time to time to meet Bosch Rexroth business and operational requirements

Requirements:

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
  • Currently residing in Bunbury or the surrounding regions
  • Mechanical or Hydraulic fitter trade certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Competent level of industrial hydraulic knowledge
  • High focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites
