Learn To Swim Instructor Position

The Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre at West HQ is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and engaging Learn to Swim Instructors. This role plays a significant part in educating the community on the importance of gaining swimming and water safety skills and understanding the principles and practices of water safety.

This position will deliver high-quality programs for all students, providing great customer service and enthusiasm about teaching swimming and water safety. Enthusiastic, energetic, reliable, and committed instructors who are conscientious about developing swimming and water safety skills through passion and providing a positive swimming culture in a safe learning environment are sought after.

AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety certification is required, along with a NSW Working with Children Check (for applicants 18 years and above) and a current CPR Certificate. AUSTSWIM Extension courses would be highly regarded for this position. Other desirable qualifications include AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant & Preschool Aquatics, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Access & Inclusion, AUSTSIWM Teacher of Adults, and Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
