Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional individual to fill the role of Security Officer.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the onsite Campus Key Register, providing concierge duties, monitoring the Campus CCTV system, conducting regular foot patrols of campus assets, performing unlock and lock up of access points within the Campus, monitoring, controlling, and maintaining Access Control equipment, providing Customer Service to all stakeholders, arming and disarming alarm systems, maintaining and controlling relevant equipment such as keys and swipe cards, reporting incidents and breaches of Security immediately, and completing documentation that accompanies any of the above activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the onsite Campus Key Register
  • Providing concierge duties
  • Monitoring the Campus CCTV system
  • Conducting regular foot patrols of campus assets
  • Performing unlock and lock up of access points within the Campus
  • Monitoring, controlling, and maintaining Access Control equipment
  • Providing Customer Service to all stakeholders

  • Maintaining and controlling relevant equipment such as keys and swipe cards
  • Reporting incidents and breaches of Security immediately
  • Completing documentation that accompanies any of the above activities

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess current First Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, hold a full New South Wales Drivers Licence, have a valid New South Wales Class 1 AC Security Licence, undergo a Working with Children check, hold a Certificate 2 in Security Operations, and be physically fit, well presented, and able to work AM/PM shift work rosters with varying hours of attendance including weekend work.
