About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to work as an experienced Diploma Qualified Educator in a full-time permanent role at Uniting Early Learning. The service is approved for 24 children and prioritizes a personalized approach, fostering a warm and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality education and care to children, supporting their learning outcomes according to the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
  • Contribute to program development reflecting the approved learning framework.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and community members.
  • Craft engaging play-based learning environments responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
  • A strong work history demonstrating recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting curriculum planning using the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
  • Adaptability, empathy, and resourcefulness, aligning with Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
