Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Specialist to join our team in Townsville. As an Urban Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on urban planning and development projects, working closely with our team of geoscientists and planners to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting planning analysis and research to inform urban planning and development projects
  • Managing projects from concept to completion, including compiling project packages for statutory approvals and permits
  • Preparing feasibility reports and due diligence advice for clients
  • Briefing and managing specialist subcontractors as required
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master's degree in urban planning or a related field
  • Minimum 2-8 years of experience in urban planning and development, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
