About the Role:
This position is responsible for leading the provision of quality spiritual care in line with the organization's vision, mission, and values within a multicultural and multi-faith environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting staff and volunteers in the integration of spiritual care in the context of customer-centric care in a complex environment, celebrating diversity and changing lifestyles.

Duties:
- Provide quality spiritual care for residents, families, and customers, and coordinate responses to their needs.
- Ensure that all spiritual care needs are regularly appraised and provide integrated leadership working with operational line managers.
- Recruit, train, and coordinate a team of pastoral care volunteers.
- Work in accordance with Baptistcare's Code of Conduct and ensure safe and sound work practices.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy or pastoral care, or tertiary theological qualifications.
- Ability to demonstrate high Christian spiritual maturity and a pastoral heart.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in providing spiritual care.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with diverse individuals to deliver person-centered care.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Proficient in utilizing IT systems for various tasks.
- Valid unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check.
Conditions of Employment:
- Willingness to undergo a NDIS clearance check and National Police Clearance.
- Valid Driver's Licence (Car) and Pre Employment Medical.
