Key Medical Science Expertise Role

The purpose of this position is to contribute medical and scientific expertise to internal stakeholders, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and drive evidence-based approaches in clinical practice.

This opportunity involves joining a dynamic immunology launch team, working closely with medical affairs, clinical research, and access teams to bring a new therapy to life.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Patient journey mapping, launch excellence roadmaps, and integrated evidence-generation plans will be key areas of focus.
  • Serving as a medical, clinical, and scientific expert within the field team will require deep therapeutic-area knowledge to support internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Identifying, mapping, and engaging with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and other healthcare professionals will be crucial for personalized engagement strategies.
  • Responding promptly and compliantly to unsolicited medical information requests while delivering accurate and timely scientific data will be essential.
  • Supporting investigator-initiated studies and clinical trial initiatives will involve providing educational and operational input.
  • Contribution of unique insights from the field informing broader medical strategy, evidence generation, and launch success will be vital.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • An advanced degree in a life or medical science is preferred; exceptional candidates with relevant experience are also considered.
  • A strong scientific background in immunology, enabling effective communication of complex data, is necessary.
  • Proven experience in KOL engagement, scientific exchange, and insight generation, ideally supporting a product launch or field-led medical strategy, is required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across diverse healthcare audiences, are essential.
  • Self-motivation, organization, and the ability to manage travel across various regions are necessary.
  • Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or related roles within pharma/biotech is highly valued.
