This role presents an opportunity to secure the future of our nation by joining a prestigious Federal Government Client as a Cyber Security Analyst.

About the Role:
  • We seek an individual with expertise in delivering cyber security risk management and analyst services, capable of effectively managing departmental systems on-premise and cloud-based platforms.
  • The successful candidate will have experience aligning security expectations with industry best practices such as ISM, PSPF, Essential 8, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with Australian Government Security Standards.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential threats to secure departmental systems and services. Your technical skills should include experience working with security monitoring, access control, application patching, and hardening.

Requirements:
  • Australian Citizens with Baseline Security Clearance
  • Experience in applying Australian government security frameworks including ISM, PSPF, and the Essential 8 in large on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document potential security risks.
