Language Facilitator Position

We are seeking a skilled Language Facilitator to join our school community. As an integral part of our teaching team, you will play a vital role in shaping the language skills of students.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of relevant curriculum requirements, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills. They will also have experience in responding to student learning needs and developing innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback on student learning growth and achievement
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional learning and reflect on practice to continually improve the quality of teaching

Selection Criteria:

SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs.SC2 Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high-impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.SC3 Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning.
