Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive maintenance tasks on equipment, including bucket and tray rebuilds, repairs, and general design and fabrication works.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maximise equipment utilisation and ensure efficient operation.
  • Develop accurate job planning sheets to support effective task management.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines.
About You
  • A safety-focused individual with a strong commitment to delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work are essential for this role.
  • Proficient in performing all welding, gouging, cutting or other duties required for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Hold a trade certificate in engineering fabrication or equivalent qualification.
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry is highly regarded.
  • Mobile plant equipment & heavy welding experience is mandatory for this position.
  • A current driver's licence (HR drivers licence highly regarded) and current Standard 11 certification are also essential.
