Integration Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join our team at a leading organization. As an Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and building complex system integrations or data flows and interfaces based on functional requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and address assigned work within the support queue, escalating issues as necessary to meet business needs, and identifying and communicating business workarounds.
  • Provide advice, support, and guidance to developers, analysts, administrators, and management on code review, design, and problem-solving.
  • Investigate and rectify the root cause of repetitive incident tickets, performing complex analysis of reported defects to enable planning for issue resolution.
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to provide issue resolution, solutions, and service delivery, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define integration requirements and translate those requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Design and build complex system integrations or data flows and interfaces based on functional requirements.
  • Ensure existing integrations or flows run at optimal times and performance levels by regular monitoring and maintenance.
  • Work closely with vendors and third-party contractors on system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Offer end-to-end ongoing support for already implemented integrations and interfaces.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant postgraduate degree in Information Technology or a related field, with exposure to various technical environments.
  • Experience working with modern workplace technologies, including Talend, PeopleSoft, Blackboard, Microsoft365, Jira/Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in integration development and administration/support or similar.
  • SQL database administration skills are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with outcome-focused solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic work environment and know when to escalate challenging issues.
  • Skill in the analysis, assessment, design, specification, development, testing, implementation, and support of enterprise-level systems.
