We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at Carlotta, an innovative Australian restaurant group.
About Carlotta
Carlotta is a distinctly Australian celebration of Mediterranean flavours and hospitality. Our menu encourages shared feasting across an ever-evolving selection of antipasti, handmade pasta, and meat and seafood cooked over coals, with a custom-made wood oven from Naples taking pride of place in the kitchen.

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to assist the Head Pastry Chef with the day-to-day operations of the dessert section. You will be responsible for ensuring your section of the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Pastry Chef in managing the dessert section
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve excellent service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Able to work autonomously and within a team
- An outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Calm and composed demeanour
- Able and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Benefits:
LUCAS Restaurants offers a competitive salary package, including:
- $60,000 - $70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
