Cloud Database Engineer Position

As a cloud database engineer, you'll have the opportunity to excel in our fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Install and manage multiple SQL Server databases, ensuring maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Perform database and application tuning, optimizing results for our customers.
  • Establish sound backup and recovery policies and procedures, safeguarding our systems against potential risks.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures, protecting sensitive information.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in managing PostgreSQL database systems is mandatory.
  • 5+ years maintaining SQL Server mission-critical databases.
  • 5+ years of TSQL programming.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience in multiple versions of Postgres or Oracle database.
  • Basic coding skills in PowerShell, Python, Terraform.

You will have an advantage if you also have knowledge in newer data/streaming platforms, AWS CLI management, MS Azure database management, MCSE/MCDBA/OCP, NET technologies, PowerShell, C#, Rubrik, TFS/GitHub.
