About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bids and proposals, developing and maintaining the estimating database, evaluating contractor tender costs, and preparing tender estimates.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary DnC, EPC, and EPCM projects
  • A demonstrated understanding of the project phases from design to commissioning
  • Relevant experience in a project or design engineering team in a greenfield and brownfield environment
  • Proven knowledge of the estimating process from start to completion for multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects
  • Ability to prepare top-down and bottom-up estimates
  • Preparation of detailed project delivery schedules in MS Project for Engineering and Construction projects
  • Participation in tender site walkthroughs to gather first-hand information in order to prepare tenders
  • An ability to use a variety of specialized estimating tools
  • Confidence in sourcing suppliers and understanding materials, labor, and equipment pricing across the Adelaide area and national market
  • Experience in preparing, liaising, evaluating, and delivering submissions for tenders and projects
  • Experience in contract reviews, risk profiling, and allocation in accordance with governance profile, tender negotiations, support to executive, BD teams, and Operations
