The UNSW Business School invites applications for casual academic opportunities in the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies.

Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to teach undergraduate and postgraduate actuarial programs, provide consultations to students, and mark assessment items. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, as well as contributing to the development of course materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach tutorials in undergraduate and/or postgraduate actuarial programs;
  • Provide consultations to students, answering questions in discussion forums;
  • Mark assessment items, ensuring accuracy and fairness;
  • Complete the UNSW Business School Tutor Training program;
  • Attend meetings as required, staying informed about course developments and student needs;
  • In some cases, provide in-class support to lecturers.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be eligible to work in Australia and have a strong understanding of the content for the courses you wish to work in. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is also essential.
