Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Retail Assistant. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, managing stock levels, and maintaining store displays.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide an outstanding customer experience by engaging with customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving and processing inventory, and maintaining store displays.
  • Upsell and promote products to customers, increasing sales and revenue.
  • Prepare cold beverages, such as milkshakes and iced drinks, to meet customer demands.
  • Clean and maintain the store, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated customer service skills and a positive attitude towards all tasks required to perform.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Prior retail or food experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
