Job Title: Category Manager

Reporting Line: Senior Category Manager: On Premise

The role will support sales teams with category analysis and insights ahead of key customer presentations, insight sessions, Joint Business Plans, and new business pitches.

This role plays a crucial part in the commercialisation of innovation projects and acts as a key conduit between Sales, Innovation, Category, Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Commercial Analytics teams.

The Category Manager will also work on strategic business initiatives for the On Premise segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable our category growth strategy by supporting all category requirements
  • Initiate, develop, and lead key projects to identify and turn strategic category problems into growth initiatives
  • Create and deliver category sell stories to customers that highlight joint opportunities to drive category growth
  • Work closely with the On Premise Trade Marketing Managers to assist with guiding our Picture of Success through insight and conduct performance reviews post implementation
  • Support development and roll out of Tap and Pack range optimisation targets and tools
  • Work closely with on premise trade marketing teams to ensure execution of new products to Picture of Success
  • Track and monitor new product launches against forecast assumptions

About You:

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Strong data analytics capability along with storytelling ability
  • Previous experience across Category, Trade Marketing, and/or Account Management
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • FMCG/Liquor experience will be highly regarded but not mandatory
  • Ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Bachelor's degree or Tertiary Education is highly regarded
