Job Title: Economic Strategist

About the Role:

We seek a seasoned economic strategist to join our team, contributing insights and expertise to drive business success. This role will focus on analyzing economic data, developing regional and macroeconomic forecasts, and creating thought-provoking research articles and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze complex economic data to develop strategic insights for business growth.
  2. Develop and lead monthly forecasting processes, ensuring high-quality outputs across forecast components.
  3. Build and maintain econometric models, providing expert-level analysis and recommendations.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert for specific regions, states, or countries, including sub-national and international economies.
  5. Represent the organization in media interviews, client presentations, and conferences, establishing thought leadership in the field.
  6. Supervise junior economists, providing day-to-day oversight, training, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Economics or related field with 5+ years' experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years' experience.
  • Expertise in macroeconomic analysis, technical writing, econometric modeling, and statistical analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and deliver customized solutions.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills to communicate complex concepts clearly.
