**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Executive Kitchen Manager to join our team at Novotel Perth Langley. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, leading a team of cooks and stewards, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will have:

  • Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef, delegating duties and responsibilities as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Liaise with restaurant teams to ensure menu items are available, and make recommendations for additions or changes.
  • Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control across all food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, implementing and maintaining effective stock control procedures.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to prepare menus, plan production, and manage inventory.
  • Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality on a daily basis to maintain financial performance and control.
  • Promote sustainability and compliance throughout the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and food preparation guidelines.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in kitchen operations, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Relevant trade qualifications and knowledge of food safety requirements.
  • Strong product knowledge of menu items and seasonal ingredients, with the ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
