Position Overview
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will operate under the supervision of the Depot Manager and/or a Depot Pharmacist, participating in the management of processes related to the handling of pharmaceutical materials. This includes reception, storage, shipment, return, and destruction, all in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Authenticate and approve operational tasks under the guidance of a Depot Pharmacist.
- Authorize shipments for distribution with oversight from a Depot Pharmacist.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all protocols at the Depot to effectively instruct Depot Staff.
- Serve as Deputy Depot Pharmacist as needed, assisting with operational tasks in compliance with local laws.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory standards set by the relevant health authorities.
- Maintain compliance with applicable ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, and FDA Good Clinical Practices, as well as local regulations and internal guidelines.
- Follow World Courier Standard Operating Procedures to manage daily Depot activities from product reception to delivery.
- Conduct regular self-inspections of the Depot to ensure operational standards are met.
- Identify and report any personnel management issues that may disrupt workflow.
- Perform additional duties as trained and required.
Qualifications
A diploma and/or necessary training in pharmaceutical services is essential for this role, as permitted by local regulations. Previous experience in warehousing or dispensing is preferred.
