About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Rail Operations team in Western Australia. This role will involve working on a regional rail project, operating on a DIDO basis.
Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specializing in the delivery of all aspects of Rail. Our team of technical experts delivers a high portfolio of work across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake leading roles in pre-contract commercial activities, including Tender Settlement and Contract Award.
- Perform detailed reviews and analyses of Cost Plans for large complex projects, including full measurement and rating exercises.
- Prepare detailed cost reporting forms and forecasts of cash inflow and outflow.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of cost and budget information for project reports.
About You
- A construction management, building, or engineering degree, or equivalent, with extensive post-graduate experience in contract administration.
- Already obtained or working towards MRICS.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration.
