Johnson Controls Fire Suppression Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Specialist to provide technical support for our fire suppression products in Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert technical assistance via email, telephone, online support, and site visits for commissioning and fault finding.
  • Offer engineering support, including drawings and layouts, for fire suppression products launched in the ANZ region.
  • Collaborate with various support centres to obtain technical information for the fire suppression product range.
  • Support Business Development Managers by providing technical information and sales support.
  • Deliver high-level OEM fire suppression product training to customers, including consultants, engineers, and field staff.
About You:
  • Prior experience in the Fire & Safety Industry or Industrial Building Products / Engineering / Mechanical industry is essential.
  • You have the ability to interpret Datasheets, Australian standards, and other industry codes and documents.
  • Previous training experience, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or similar, is highly regarded.
  • You possess highly developed communication skills, enabling you to negotiate with customers at all levels.
  • Your writing skills are excellent, allowing you to prepare a wide variety of communication materials for internal and external audiences.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Auto-cad.
  • You are able to learn new internal software packages.
  • You have good mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic hand tools.
  • You can handle pressure and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Estimated Salary:
