Van Driver Role

This role involves operating and delivering in our vans as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day.

As a Van Driver, you'll be responsible for safely performing and operating a van to pick up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres. You'll also be required to unload mail articles from vans and manually sort them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts.

Additionally, you'll be completing your own daily vehicle safety check and will be paired up with our experienced senior drivers who are committed to engaging and taking part in your professional development.

About the Job

  • You'll need to hold a full or probationary Australian driver's licence
  • You'll successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment
  • You're flexible with working additional hours if required
  • You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • You'll need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
