About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Service Fitter to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including stripping, measuring and inspecting components, cleaning and preparing components, assembling and testing cylinders, attending toolbox talks and maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components
  • Cleaning and preparing components
  • Assemble and testing of cylinders
  • Attend and participate in toolbox talks
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workspace

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications (essential) and welding qualifications (desirable)
  • Experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders
  • Experience working with Hydraulic Cylinders, Pumps, Valves and Motors
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly and work with others
  • Experience with fault finding and diagnostics is advantageous
  • Eager to learn and desire to develop within the company
