About the Role- Prepare and serve delicious meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring each resident receives the right meal according to their dietary requirements.
- Set up the dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
- Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing meals, which may include chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under the supervision of the Cook or Head Chef.
- Serving Meals: Help in serving meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring that each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
- Dining Room Setup: Set up the dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean, and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
- Fully qualified Food Handlers Certificate.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
