Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support our store manager in driving sales, operating smoothly and creating a positive work environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a high-performing team. They will also be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and will have a solid understanding of automotive retail principles.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a customer-first mindset and promoting a positive work culture
  • Motivate and develop a high-performing team, focusing on individual and team growth
  • Ensure compliance with WHS programs and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in management or leadership roles, preferably in retail or a related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • A passion for learning and development, with a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Operational know-how in visual merchandising, stock control, loss prevention and performance reporting (desirable)
