About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-friendly individual to join our Operations team at our Bibra Lake branch. As a Vehicle Inspector/Forklift Operator, you will work closely with your team to ensure the smooth operation of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload salvage stock from transport trucks and load sold salvage stock onto transport trucks, sometimes using a forklift.
  • Catalogue incoming salvage stock, photograph and upload it to our system accurately and within the required timeframes.
  • Assist in the set-up of the auction and sale yards by moving assets around the yard in preparation for scheduled auctions.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to vendors and buyers by cataloguing stock correctly and upon delivery of assets to buyers.
  • Follow all WHS policies and procedures as required.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the branch.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • A current and valid drivers' license with the ability to drive manual.
  • A current and valid forklift license.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills/ability to use an iPad.
  • Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
