Senior Data Engineering Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineering Expert to join our team. As a key member of our data practice, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative data solutions on cloud-based platforms using modern data technologies.

  • Design and deliver cutting-edge data architectures that meet the evolving needs of forward-thinking organizations.
  • Build next-generation data platforms that leverage distributed processing engines, event streaming platforms, and other modern data technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategy, architecture, and implementation of data engineering solutions.
  • Analyze complex development tasks and lead high-performing development teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, helping define approaches to technical challenges and assisting with project estimation and planning.
About the Role

This is a mid-senior level position that requires a broad experience in architecture design with deep expertise in one or more data engineering technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a self-starter mindset with the ability to break down large problems and share learnings within projects and the organization.

  • Hands-on experience with data platforms and languages such as: Big Data Platforms (Apache Spark, Presto, Amazon EMR); Cloud Data Warehouses (Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery); Java, Python; NoSQL (DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, MongoDB); Containerization (Kubernetes, Amazon ECS); AI/ML (Amazon SageMaker, Azure ML Studio); Streaming (Kinesis, Kafka); Visual Analytics (Tableau, PowerBI); Modern Data Workflows (Airflow, dbt, Dagster).
