Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and informative reporting to support business decision-making. You will design, implement, and maintain data analysis and reporting solutions using Power BI, Cognos, and other relevant tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data analysis and reporting solutions to meet specific business needs
  • Develop and maintain Power BI and Cognos reporting solutions, including writing complex SQL queries using T-SQL and Informix SQL
  • Create and maintain ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, Azure Logic Apps, and other relevant tools
  • Conduct data studies to identify trends and create accurate and clear insights
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations for business strategy and tactical improvements via regular dashboards, reports, and briefings

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to develop reporting solutions using Power BI, Cognos, and/or similar tools
  • Advanced query skills with T-SQL
  • Experience developing and maintaining Tabular models (Analysis Services or Power BI)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data into business contexts
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends and communicate them to the business
  • Ability to continually improve reporting processes and quality of information
  • IT or business degree qualified and/or relevant experience
  • Experience with Logic Apps and/or SQL Server Integration Services
  • Experience with Pronto-Xi ERP or similar
