Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at G8 Education. As a Childcare Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and growth of young children aged 6 months to 5 years old. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing engaging play-based learning activities, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture, and maintaining a clean and organized room. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
  • Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
  • Maintain a clean and organized room, including managing materials and supplies
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services
  • Understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
