As a dedicated professional in the field of law, this exciting opportunity presents itself to work with Aboriginal communities in Central Australia. The role involves providing culturally appropriate legal advice and representation to victim-survivors of domestic, family, and sexual violence.

">About the Role
  • Represent clients in Domestic Violence Orders and Victims of Crime Compensation matters (occasional Family Law & Child Protection)
  • Work closely with Client Service Officers to deliver wrap-around support
  • Build strong relationships with communities and stakeholders
  • Travel to remote communities for outreach and education
Key Requirements
  • Eligibility for an NT legal practising certificate (restricted/unrestricted)
  • At least 1 year post-admission experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and DFSV issues
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility to travel
