**Job Opportunity at the Department of Justice**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Investigation and Assessment Officer. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

**About the Role**

  • The successful candidate will assist the Health Complaints Commissioner in fulfilling their responsibilities under the Health Complaints Act 1995.
  • You will be responsible for receiving and recording enquires and complaints, facilitating quick resolution directly with service providers when possible.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Obtain information and assess complaints to identify issues that require further investigation or referral.
  2. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including relevant providers, agencies, and individuals.
  3. Prepare concise, factual reports and correspondence resulting from assessment, resolution, and investigation processes.

**Essential Requirements**

  • A current driver's license
  • Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Registration Status - Employment)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications

**Working Conditions**

73.50 hours per fortnight, flexible options available.
