Senior Technical Designer Opportunity

This is a highly sought-after role that requires an individual with exceptional technical skills and a passion for fashion design. As a senior technical designer, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality garments and ensuring a seamless process that enables the team to work together efficiently.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing products in line with the design vision, core brand values, and seasonal deadlines. They will work closely with the design, buying, and production departments and supplier base to ensure that all garments meet the highest quality standards.

  • Developing detailed and thorough tech packs for offshore manufacturers and local pattern makers for sampling
  • Measuring and controlling fit of garment approvals (protos, salesman, pre-production, and shipment samples)
  • Managing and organizing garment fit sessions
  • Translating technical fit improvements and alterations to suppliers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Existing technical design experience within a fashion brand
  • Advanced Adobe Suite skillset
  • Strong quality & technical background and sound understanding of garment construction and grading
  • Strong fitting and problem-solving skills
  • 3-5 years' minimum experience in a technical role
