About the Team

The Melbourne School of Health Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Clinical Placements Officer. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to key professional and academic staff in relation to student placements.

This role involves working closely with the Clinical Education Manager to ensure that all administrative tasks associated with running clinical placements are undertaken in accordance with School requirements and University policy. You will be responsible for coordinating placement processes, managing day-to-day queries from students and stakeholders, and assisting with the review of clinical assessment documentation.

Main Duties:

  • Coordinate placement processes in consultation with Clinical Education Coordinators
  • Manage day-to-day queries from students and stakeholders relating to placement
  • Manage the collection of student assessment documentation and assist with reviewing clinical assessment documentation as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent mix of education and experience
  • University or clinical placement experience
  • Proficient in using StudentOne or other key Student and Client management systems
