Job Overview:Key Responsibilities:
  1. Purposeful Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations that reveal each child's potential
  2. Tailored Therapy Plans: Create custom plans that match each child's unique goals
  3. Evidence-Based Interventions: Deliver proven methods that drive progress and achievement
  4. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with families and caregivers to provide holistic support
  5. Progress Monitoring: Track and evaluate progress, fine-tuning strategies as needed
  6. Families Empowered: Guide families to be active participants in their child's development and growth
  7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, therapy, and progress
  8. Excellence in Practice: Uphold best practices in all aspects of speech pathology
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Strong Communication Skills: Connect effectively with children, families, and colleagues
  • Independent yet Team-Oriented: Thrive in a supportive dynamic team environment
  • Flexibility and Mobility: Willingness to travel within a 50km radius and utilise personal vehicle (KM reimbursement provided)
  • Valid Certifications: Hold a current Working with Children Check, Worker Screening Check, and driver's license
