Senior Finance Associate

The role of a Lombard and Mortgage Lending Specialist involves providing critical support to Wealth Management clients in securing financing products. This position is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where multiple stakeholders are involved.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for client advisors throughout the Lombard and Mortgage loan process, assisting them in expanding their existing client relationships through additional financing services.
Key Responsibilities- Identify client needs and structure loan requests by completing thorough due diligence and assessments before submitting for approval.
- Offer comprehensive support during each stage of the transaction lifecycle, from origination to execution and ongoing maintenance of bespoke financing solutions.
- Promote strategic leverage use to client advisors and clients by developing sales strategies.
- Support lending product maintenance, risk management, ongoing monitoring, reporting, and pricing activities.
- Manage loans and deposits product risk and control requirements to ensure compliance across all areas.
- A university degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge and experience with Lombard lending (margin lending) and Mortgage lending in Australia.
- Several years' experience structuring/underwriting complex loans for high net worth clients or serving as a loan officer.
- A methodical, concise, and accurate work style with a strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financing product risk and regulatory issues.
- A collaborative team member with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An outstanding communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
