Aviation Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics to join our team at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Edinburgh, South Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and modifying aircraft systems, performing depot servicing requirements, and undertaking aircraft maintenance activities in support of Product Support Training & Maintenance (PST&M) - MRO Services Capability.
This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the P-8A Poseidon Program.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain individual qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills - Avionics IAW the Boeing Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
- Adhere to all approved maintenance processes and procedures
- Evaluate and verify maintenance actions to ensure compliance with task requirements
- Carry out aircraft and/or component maintenance duties, including task completion, certification, and finalisation, in accordance with maintenance authorisation
- Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) - Essential
- Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) - Essential
- Hold a C class driver's licence - Essential
- Suitability to obtain DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) - Essential
- Strong knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework - Essential
