Our engineering-first culture is all about pushing the limits of what's possible. We're scaling fast, but we're not sacrificing quality for speed. Instead, we're focused on delivering production-grade pipelines that make our engineers' lives easier.

This role is a rare opportunity to join our team as we take Abi from early access to global scale. You'll have the chance to own core applications end-to-end, not just one slice of a larger machine.

Your Role in the Action
  • Design and maintain a suite of developer tools that streamline development workflows and ensure they're the fastest, safest route for our team.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for firmware, robotics, and cloud systems, ensuring deterministic results and time synchronization.
  • Develop and manage simulation infrastructure, orchestrating large-scale runs with precise control.
  • Work with our team to standardize hardware-in-the-loop and manufacturing test automation, covering flashing, calibration, and data capture.
  • Improve release engineering to make builds and deployments faster and more reliable.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience building developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or related engineering at scale, with ownership of production-grade pipelines.
  • Strong software engineering skills with production experience in Python and one of C++ or Go.
  • Experience with Nix for reproducible builds, environment management, and deployment workflows.
  • Hands-on with CI systems and build tools such as Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, artifact repositories, and remote build/caching.
