Job Description: As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to embed consistent safety practices and promote a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate Safety Management System: Partner with operational leadership teams to integrate our Safety Management System into business operations, ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations.
  • Develop Leadership Capability: Design and deliver relevant safety communications to develop leaders and managers' capability to effectively lead safety initiatives, create accountability cultures, and drive improved safety performance.
  • Implement WHS Procedures: Ensure observance and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and protocols across multiple sites.
  • Incident Response and Investigation: Respond to incidents, report and investigate them using ICAM methodology, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • WHS Qualification or Related Experience: Possess a WHS qualification or have relevant field experience.
  • Business Partnership Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Business Partner or Advisor.
  • Communication and Documentation Skills: Excellent communication skills and proven documentation experience in risk assessments, developing toolboxes, and completing safety documentation.
  • Implementation Experience: Previous experience implementing WHS Management Systems and procedures across multiple sites.
  • incident response experience: Incident response, reporting and investigation experience using ICAM methodology.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Influence and Outcome: Capacity to influence outcomes in a commercial and pragmatic way.
