Accounting Role Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our clients and contributing to the growth of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Prepare month-end reports, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.">
  • Manage reconciliations (General Ledger, Balance Sheet, inter-company).">
  • Oversee Fixed Assets Register.">
  • Prepare ITR, CTR, FBT, SMSF, BAS returns for review.">
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and client advisory work.">
  • Handle ad hoc accounting tasks and support the broader team.">
  • Manage stakeholder relationships (ATO, ASIC, etc.).">
  • In smaller companies, assist with AP/AR and payroll as required.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting role.">
  • A degree in Accounting (essential).">
  • Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, including Div 7A, Div 40 & 43.">
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.">
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.">
  • Proficiency with HandiSoft, QuickBooks, MYOB, Reckon, Xero, Excel, and Word.">
  • Commitment to professional growth (CPA/CA study encouraged).">
  • Additional tax training (H&R Block, ITP, etc.) preferred.">
