Technical Program Manager for Satellite Licensing

The ideal candidate will lead complex licensing schedules and dependencies, driving teams to deliver services on time. Strong project management skills, experience in telecommunications regulations, and ability to communicate effectively are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage licensing schedules and dependencies across multiple regions.
  • Build and automate reporting mechanisms to drive efficiency.
  • Provide transparent program management status to stakeholders.
  • Extract regulatory compliance requirements and assign responsibilities.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Catalyze process improvements to enhance business delivery.

Job Description:

In this role, you will own the cross-functional licensing schedules, ensure compliance with license conditions, and work closely with Regulatory country leads, TPMs, Legal, Business, Ground Infrastructure, Engineering, and Export Control teams.

A Day in the Life:

You will design mechanisms to manage complex compliance and licensing processes, anticipate bottlenecks, and remove blockers. You will deliver independently with limited guidance across the APAC Region and its diverse regulatory frameworks.

About the Team:

The Regulatory Team obtains licenses for satellite services, advocates for rules and policies, coordinates spectrum-use, files constellation parameters, and develops data analyses to support these activities. We partner with Legal and Public Policy teams, working closely with Public Affairs and Kuiper's development, operations, and business teams.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 6+ years of experience driving business and technical discussions/alignment.
  • 3+ years of Telecommunications regulatory experience.
  • Experience using and customizing project management tools.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvement.
