Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Recovery Specialist to join our commercial finance team. This role will involve working with vendors, managing account-level relationships, and ensuring timely collection of delinquent accounts while adhering to compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the account-level relationship with specific vendors.
- Ensuring all delinquent accounts are collected in a timely manner, and that compliance standards are adhered to.
- Adhering to external regulatory and internal policy requirements, and system processes.
- Regular reconciliation of client accounts to identify account issues and resolve client concerns.
- Case managing extended circumstances surrounding delinquency and providing client solutions that meet the company's needs.
- Entering default listings.
- Recommending legal action when necessary.
- Arranging repossession of company assets.
- Dealing with disputes.
- Working with third-party collections agents and external solicitors.
- Skip Tracing.
Requirements:
- Studying or recently graduated from a finance-related degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively autonomously or in a team environment.
- Computer literacy including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven dispute resolution and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of the commercial finance industry and litigation process would be highly regarded but not necessary.
