Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Recovery Specialist to join our commercial finance team. This role will involve working with vendors, managing account-level relationships, and ensuring timely collection of delinquent accounts while adhering to compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the account-level relationship with specific vendors.
  • Ensuring all delinquent accounts are collected in a timely manner, and that compliance standards are adhered to.
  • Adhering to external regulatory and internal policy requirements, and system processes.
  • Regular reconciliation of client accounts to identify account issues and resolve client concerns.
  • Case managing extended circumstances surrounding delinquency and providing client solutions that meet the company's needs.
  • Entering default listings.
  • Recommending legal action when necessary.
  • Arranging repossession of company assets.
  • Dealing with disputes.
  • Working with third-party collections agents and external solicitors.
  • Skip Tracing.

Requirements:

  • Studying or recently graduated from a finance-related degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively autonomously or in a team environment.
  • Computer literacy including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven dispute resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of the commercial finance industry and litigation process would be highly regarded but not necessary.
